Thousands attend Luna open audition
An estimated 15,000 teenage girls this morning queued up at the London open auditions for the part of Luna Lovegood in OOTP. Some hopefuls slept outside since yesterday, while others began arriving as early as 12:30 AM.

If anyone went to the auditions and has some photos, please send them our way!

UPDATE: Newsround now has a report which includes quotes from applicants and some pictures. Thanks, Sarah!

UPDATE #2: Reuters now has a video of the auditions. Thanks, Heather!

Newsround has now posted a few more photos which can be seen here.

According to a television report on Sky News, it took one man 15 minutes to walk from the back of the audition queue to the front.

UPDATE #3: Reader Aleydis made it to the second round and sent this report: After seeing the article for the open Luna Lovegood casting call on your site I went along to the auditions and queued for seven and a half hours in the freezing cold! 100 girls went into the main hall at a time and met the casting director, Fiona Weir, and we said our names and where we were from (one at a time). She then asked about two people per hundred to step forward and the rest to leave. I waited for her to ask me to leave but instead she said 'the girl with the spotty hair ribbon please step forward' and it was me! I then filled out a form with all my details on and had my picture taken. I was told that if they were particularly interested in me they would call me back within the next two weeks for a proper audition - I'm really nervous but so excited!

If any of you made it to the second round, be sure to let us know!
