Will one of the deaths in the last installment of the series be a Weasley? They're an awfully large family to go all seven books without loss, and Mrs. Weasley's clock has been on "mortal peril" for quite a while now...

JK Rowling says:
On the Children's High Level Group in Romania (from the Sunday Times)...
"We launched the Children's High Level Group in Romania because it is the eastern European state that was prepared to admit that it had a problem with institutionalised children and opened its doors to external agencies that wanted to help. There is still much work to do there - more than 30,000 children remain in care - yet when you look at how far Romania has come it is hard not to concede that a minor miracle has been achieved."

Lumos 2006
Written by K'lyssa Selmon
In true Potter fashion, when we do something big - we go all out. Lumos will be completely taking over the JW Marriott, offering everything from common rooms for each house to a library for leisurely reading like a few of our favorite wizards and witches. Scheduled events included Water Quidditch, Hogwarts Night Classes, and even a rousing game of Live Chess.

And of course, we can't forget the second LeakyMug Live Podcast. After the huge success of the podcast held in NYC following the Goblet of Fire premiere, Lumos seemed like the perfect opportunity to hold another one. Melissa, Andrew, John, Ben, Sue, Kevin, Kristin and Emerson will once again enthrall us all with a review of the symposium as well as a myriad of other Harry Potter related topics. In addition, MuggleNet staffers Rachel, Micah, Eric, Dylan, Laura, Jill, and myself will also be on hand to meet you all and take part in all of the offered activities.

Sound like something you're interested in? Well unfortunately for those that haven't registered, Lumos has sold out! A waiting list has been set up, in the event that registrations become available. So be sure to reserve your spot here, and keep your fingers crossed. And for those of you that have already registered, I can't wait to meet you all!

Only 156 more days! For more information regarding Lumos itself, the scheduled events, or any other FAQ that might spring to mind, visit the official site for the event here.
