Official Scholastic Podcast and Tour Info

***UPDATE*** Click here to go to the official website and see how the events went!

On the following dates, Emerson Spartz of MuggleNet.com, Melissa of Leaky, and Cheryl Klein, continuity editor for the HP books (don't challenge her to a trivia contest - it's a no-win situation) will appear at bookstores to talk about Harry Potter. We'll be discussing our favorite theories, what we think may happen in the rest of the series, and more. And we want your input, too. Emerson welcomes good-natured heckling from still-disgruntled Harry/Hermione shippers.

Starting July 25, you will be able to listen to these appearances in podcast form - but we certainly hope if you're nearby you'll come out anyway! We'll be fun. We'll provide links to the podcasts on as soon as they are available.

Here is where we're going to be, and when:

July 20, 7 p.m.
Naperville, IL
Anderson's Bookshop
123 West Jefferson
Naperville, IL 60540

July 25, 7 p.m.
Barnes & Noble Summerlin
Crossroads Commons
8915 W. Charleston
Las Vegas, NV 89117
(Note to Lumos attendees: this is about one mile from the J.W. Marriott, where most of you will be staying)

July 30, 1 p.m.
Barnes & Noble at the Grove at Farmers Market
189 Grove Drive
Los Angeles, CA, 90036

And don't forget about the two special LIVE LeakyMug podcasts taking place in Las Vegas and New York City. The entire MuggleCast and PotterCast crews will be there, so it promises to be a rip-roaring good time.

Quotes
Well, I can certainly see why we're trying to keep them alive. Who wouldn't want pets that can burn, sting, and bite all at once?
