Potter Profile - Amy Elizabeth

April 12, 2009

First off, how did you become a Harry Potter fan?
My Auntie and Uncle came over from the UK and brought the first Harry Potter book for me. They also gave me the fourth. I never really read books at that age but one night my Dad and step-Mum were fighting so I locked myself in the bathroom and just read til my heart was content. After the first few pages I was absolutely hooked! I couldn't put the book down, it went with me wherever I went. Instead of my Teddy Bear, i took Harry Potter!

How are you feeling now that the series is over?
I'm devastated! No more books to look forward to! But in some way I'm happy to know what happens in the end. No more favourite characters are going to die. I'll keep reading Harry Potter again and again. From first til last. They are just too good!

Imagine you are sitting in the Great Hall with the Sorting Hat on your head. What would it be saying?
"Hmmmmmmmmmm a lot of potential and lust for knowledge. Might be perfect for Ravenclaw. But your potential to rise in a heroic case leads me to believe...GRYFFINDOR"

If you were a wizard in your 5th year trying to decide what career you might be interested in, what would your options be?
I think I would consider being an Auror. They have awesome skills and get to do amazing thing. I wouldn;t mind working at St Mungo's. You'd see so many amazing things and be able to help people!

Which Hogwarts professor do you believe you would get along with best?
Either Minerva or Remus. They have amazing classes and I'd be so intrigued! And being a favourite class means you get on with the teachers hehe.

If you were at Hogwarts at the same time as Professor Umbridge, would you have joined Dumbledore's Army?
Of course! Down with Umbridge and her wicked ways! D.A forever!

Which "Weasley Wizarding Wheezes" would you use to get out of class?
Nosebleed Nougat - Amazing invention. Plus it isn't suss if you randomly get a nosebleed :D

Is there anything else you would like to add?
I absolutely love Harry Potter. J.K.Rowling has the most amazing imagination its incredible. Harry Potter changed the face of literature and the big screen. The series will forever hold a special place in my life. My first love!
