What is your favorite Harry Potter book and why?
My favorite book is definately The Order of the Pheonix! It was so fantastic!!! It had me on the edge of my seat the whole time I was reading it! I loved it so much because the characters were all grown up (well growing up) and beginning to do more things that could DEFFINATELY affect the future of the books. And they were also getting more mature and more emotional. Take Harry for example, so much emotion was going on around him and horrible things happening to him and to ones he loved he began questioning why? why me? why am I here? what is my purpose? Its way darker than all the others....I love it!
Did you like the third movie or not and why?
The 3rd movie was okay, it was better than the first two, partly because it was darker and more complex, I guess you could say. But they didn't exactly explain the storyline as well as the first two, I was watching it with my best friend Kimmy, who just recently started getting into Harry Potter, and she kept asking me whos that? What are they doing? How'd they get there? I understood everthing because I've read the 3rd book twice, but to somebody who hasn't it wouldnt be as good. I also didn't like how the broomstick wasnt included as it was in the book, and there wasnt the big fight with Ron and Hermione and of course.. the Marauders weren't a big part... but I still love the movie!!!!!!
If you could spend the day as one character from the books, who would
it be?
One day as a character.... I think I would be Hermione. Just because she is so smart, she is the best witch of her age, according to Lupin. She knows tons and loads of spells and is very witty and....she is best friends with Ron and Harry!!!!
A
What do you think of all this "relationship" arguments about who will end up with who, etc.?
URGH! Just one word... URGH! Okay... Ron and Hermione! Very obvious....
all signs point to it! What happens when you like somebody? You flirt, you joke and
around mess with their head, call them stupid make fun of them... playfully not mean!
Exactly what Ron does to Hermione! Ron got tremendously jealous of Krum at the Yule
Ball, when Hermione showed up as beautiful as ever. And on the second movie in the
interview with J.K. Rowling herself, she said that she has them *the filmmakers*
put the very important details in the films. Things that will possibly come up
in later movies/books. So when Hermione grabbed Ron's hand while Harry was trying
to get Buckbeak to bow, could that be a possible sign of foreshadowing? I think so!
I think Harry will end up with either, a new girl, or Ginny. I love Luna, I think
she's hilarious, but she's too weird for Harry... he needs a sensible girl that
can help him in his battles, Ginny is very good with her magic, as we learned in the 5th book!
What is your favorite moment of the series so far?
I know this is horrible.... but when Sirius died! I know your thinking,
"HOW COULD SHE THINK THAT?" But it was so.... I can't explain, and plus we STILL dont
know if he died. I think he did, but just how he was the last thing that was keeping
Harry sane and somewhat happy (well happy isnt the word...) but then he's GONE! Never
coming back... Sirius was the one person that was closest to a father for Harry, now
all Harry has left is Lupin. It was like a ground breaking thing when I read that,
because (okay this is going to sound stupid) I started bawling at 4:30 in the morning
while I was reading that... I was like "OH MY GOD J.K. ROWLING! HOW COULD YOU DO THAT
TO HARRY?" Haha... Sirius was my favorite character... I dont know... it's brilliant.
Oh and, I love Fred and George's incredble escape flying off into the sunset. Pure genius!
Who do you think the Half-Blood prince is?
Seamus Finnigan! Like I said before, JK said that they put the important things in the films... and remember while they are eating dinner, in what wasnt it the first movie? The show Seamus talking to I think Neville and Dean saying, "Me Mum's a witch, Dad's a muggle, bit of a suprise for him when he found out, eh?" Which would make him half-blood. Then, in the fifth book he was having problems with Harry over if Voldemort was really back or not. I think he was thinking it was to hard to believe. And his Mum was probably in denial also...and so she told him it wasnt true and then it gets into the big ordeal. But I also thing it could be Neville....but maybe someone completely new. Or the person we least except... I dont know.. endless possibilities. But I still say, Seamus.
Do you have anything else you'd like to add? Maybe a theory you've concocted, a shout-out?
Um... Seamus is half-blood prince....umm... Ron and Hermione......Aunt Petunia is be a BIG part... well the whole Dursley family will be a big big big HUGE part of either 6 or book 7. And some shout outs to... J.K. Rowling! THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR BOOKS! THANK YOU THANK YOU! They have acutally changed my life... I used to hate reading and all but now its WONDERFUL! And Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, Rupert Grint, you guys are such good actors! I love you guys! And I wanna say HEY! To all my friends, my harry potter friends, Kristy, Kimmy, Cherrity, Ashley, Nathan and Hey to Eric!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OH OH! I forgot to add this... Harry's Parents, Lily and James are definately coming back, and they are bringing along Sirius and Cedric Diggory and all of those people who came out of Voldemorts wand in the 4th book... yes I know I'm crazy... but hey, it would make a happy ending to book 7!
