Potter Profile - Brittany

Give us your review of Half-Blood Prince.
Bloomin' fabulous. I didn't really like the romance parts too much (except the deal with Lupin and Tonks!), but I understand why they are there and they were well written. I'm just not a fan of teen romance. I love the parts with Luna though! She is my favorite character, with Tonks in a close second. This book has given everyone a lot to mull over, I think! I liked how JKR lets us get to see Malfoy's other side and the developing idea throughout that maybe Dumbledore doesn't always know what's best, and that he might not be invincible. It makes a better and more intriguing story. Not that it isn't already…

Did you like the fourth movie or not and why?
Yes and no. I liked it from the theatric standpoint, with the special effects and things like that, but from the standpoint of the book, I'm horrified. Some of the cuts I understand and don't mind, while others I don't understand how they can do without it. Are they just going to shove in the fact the Dobby works at Hogwarts in the fifth movie, along with Rita being a Animagus. It will only make OOTP longer, and more cuts from it.

If you could spend the day as one EVIL character from the books, who would it be?
Bellatrix Lestrange. She's just so evil, and crazy. Plus she gets to be about the only female Death Eater. And she does have some skill. It would be so intriguing if she had any children though… They'd be really messed up of course.

Which GOOD character would you want to be for a day?
Tonks! She can change into whoever she wants and has a somewhat important place in life, with more knowledge then the teen characters. And she could turn her hair blue. My mom won't let me dye mine blue…

If you could have any magical power what would it be?
Metamorphmagus. Some days I just don't want to be me.

What is your favourite moment of the series so far?
I dunno. I like it all, though I really like the bits that focus more on Luna, the twins, or Dumbledore.

Is Snape REALLY good or evil and is Dumbledore REALLY dead?
Dumbledore really is dead *tear*. I don't think Snape is one of the good guys, but he may be working for good. But that would take a lot of convincing on JKR's part, and I would find it easier to believe that he either works for You-Know-Who or himself. He's just too… selfish or something to be good.

Will Harry survive the 7th book?
Yes. He will live. The series is called HARRY POTTER, not something else. JKR is not about to kill her main character. This is a children's book. Besides, I bet she likes him too much to kill him.

Do you have anything else you'd like to add? Maybe a theory you've concocted, a shout-out? Editors note: Picture removed due to privacy issues.

That's me as Luna Lovegood in the middle! Yes, yes, I know… The House colors are off on the scarf. But the stores didn't carry bronze yarn (I made it myself), or even a bronzelike color! And that's my friend in the corner; she's dressed as Bellatrix Lestrange. She hates cameras.

Harry looked up, diverted. The circumstance of Ron having read a book that Hermione had not was unprecedented.
