Give us your review of Half-Blood Prince.
I laughed, I cried, I was angry, scared and happy...These books just keep getting better and better! I loved the British humor of the first chapter, I was stunned by Spinner's End, I roared with laughter during Dumbledore's visit, should I continue? Draco was a surprise, I am sending a CV to the Weasley twins and I wanted to put a bomb at the Ministry of Magic.
Did you like the fourth movie or not and why?
I LOVED IT! For me it is by far the best one yet. For the first time Hogwarts felt like a real boarding school, Newell is so English! All the romance was so cute and so many funny moments...But there were a few things that annoyed me, like Wormtail and even Dumbledore a bit (aggressive with Harry?!). The tasks were really well directed and Voldemort was pure evil. I can't wait for OOTP!
If you could spend the day as one EVIL character from the books, who would it be?
I'd love to be one of the Death Eaters during the night Voldemort came back. Not the ones that are in any way harmed, though. I think it was the most terrifying and exciting night of their life. And seeing Harry fight and the Priori Incantatem...ok, maybe not really from the perspective of a bad guy.
Which GOOD character would you want to be for a day?
I'd say Ginny, for the day THE KISS happened (and she beat Cho for the second time!) or the day she spent a lunch with Harry on the edge of the lake.
If you could have any magical power what would it be?
I want to be invisible! Hey, why not? A Cloak would be great. I could see and hear without being noticed by anyone, I guess it would be fun. But my favorite thing is Apparition, one day I'd be in Italy, the next in Egypt, later walking around London...all the cool places I've always wanted to visit!
What is your favourite moment of the series so far?
This is a totally impossible question. I have a hard time deciding the favorite moment from one book, but... the entire series!?
OK, I'll give you only two: best “nice” moment was in POA when Sirius is offering Harry a home, a real one, and he's so very happy for a few hours.
Favorite “dramatic” moment: in Dumbledore's office after the death of Sirius. I cried the whole time for Harry, what he was feeling and what he discovered he had to do...
Is Snape REALLY good or evil and is Dumbledore REALLY dead?
I am sure Dumbledore is dead, everything points to this conclusion. As for Snape, I am more towards the “he's good” side. He's such a great character! I hate him, I pity him, he makes me mad and I really admire his talents, but at the same time I think for a man of his abilities he could have been a better person. Then again, if he were, we wouldn't be discussing him so much...
Will Harry survive the 7th book?
That makes me realize that there is only one book left. I don't want it to end! I want to keep reading Harry's adventures forever. I believe he should live, have a normal life for a start (as normal as it could be), but just have the time to be Happy, with his family and friends. Still, I am a bit afraid that Jo will kill him. I'd cry for a month!!!
Do you have anything else you'd like to add? Maybe a theory you've concocted, a shout-out?
A silly theory I haven't written anywhere else and this is the only place I ever will (I think): what if Harry could destroy a Horcrux by giving it to a Dementor? I mean, could a creature like that suck the “soul” out of an object and could it be convinced to do so? A wild idea, at best...
Now, to end this, I'd like to send all my love to JKR. Thank you Greg and MuggleNet! Also, hello to all HP fanatics and a “special” shout-out to any Romanians who might read this...one of you has made it to Potter Profiles!
