Potter Profile - Jessica

September 6, 2009

First off, how did you become a Harry Potter fan?
My mother and aunt have been reading the books to me since I was little. When I finally old enough to read them myself, I did. I read all seven books in a month, watched the movies after finishing each book and now I am playing the video game!

How are you feeling now that the series is over?
I had a hard time finishing the last book, I never wanted it to end! I am happy with the ending though. It would have sucked if Harry died.

So, Half-Blood Prince is out in theaters. What did you think?
I liked it except for the parts that they added in. I like the movies to be just like the books.

What part of the book was left in that you were SO EXCITED to see come to life?
I don't know, the whole book I guess. It's my favorite book out of all of them.

What did the film makers leave out that left you a little disappointed?
More memories. I really wanted to see the Gaunts come to life! The battle at the end too. I wanted to see the rest of D.A. take the luck potion and fight the horrible Death Eaters!

How did you feel about the Half-Blood Prince portion of the storyline? Were you satisfied?
I loved it! Snape rocks!

After leaving the theater, how did you feel? Did the movie leave you excited, sad, or something else?
Super excited! My parents didn't like it but my little brother did so we talked about it the whole way home!!

Is there anything else you would like to add?
I <3 Mugglenet & Harry Potter!

Bad news, Harry. I've just been to see Professor McGonagall about the Firebolt. She — er — got a bit shirty with me. Told me I'd got my priorities wrong. Seemed to think I cared more about winning the Cup than I do about you staying alive. Just because I told her I didn't care if it threw you off, as long as you caught the Snitch first.
