Potter Profile - Jonica

What is your favorite Harry Potter book and why?
My favorite book was Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire (although it was closely followed by OotP and PA). I think that the idea for the Triwizard Tournament is awesome. It adds something different from the previous books. Book four introduces so many new things that I can't believe Harry didn't find out before then. Death Eaters, the dark mark, the unforgivable curses, Hogwarts past, veritaserum, priori incantatem, and tons more I can't even think of! Not to mention that I like it (even if this event may be bad) when Voldemort comes back. The whole book was fun to read and, I still love it!

Did you like the third movie or not and why?
I thought that the 3rd movie was good and the best one yet. There were a lot of changes from the book, but I am getting over that and regarding the movies and books as being different. I think the acting was great, the sets were amazing, and they had most (but not all) of the important information. Overall, it was a great movie and, no matter how much it differs from the book, I bought is as soon as I could.

If you could spend the day as one character from the books, who would it be?
This to me is a very easy question. If I could be any of the characters it would most definitely be Harry. I will make this short with a nice list. Harry has the invisibility cloak, he has the Marauder's Map, he's friends with Sirius, he has two great best friends, he's rich (shopping spree in Diagon Alley anyone?), he's famous, he's got a wicked awesome scar, he plays quidditch on a firebolt, he's in Gryffindor, and he's got Dobby (talk about free food!).

A What do you think of all this "relationship" arguments about who will end up with who, etc.?
I think that relationship arguments are amusing and, in a way, fun to think about. As in all theories, some are way too far fetched (like Hermione and Draco), but others I think are very likely to occur. I am almost positive that Hermione and Ron will date. This comes from the movies, books, and quotes from Jo. I don't have much of an idea of who else will end up together, but I would like Ginny and Harry to date at some point.

What is your favorite moment of the series so far?
Now this is the hard one: my favorite moment. Well, I love so many moments that it is hard to find a favorite one! Although I loved the pensieve and Malfoy being turned into a ferret, my favorite moments so far have been ones about the DA. I love the idea of Harry getting something he wants in OP, as nothing else goes right for him. With all the cool people, spells, a talk with Sirius, and getting ready for the grand finale, how could anyone not love the DA?!

Who do you think the Half-Blood prince is?
The one question everyone, including me, is thinking about is who that darn Half-Blood Prince is! I personally believe it is someone we have heard of before, but only played a small part. Usually the characters Jo uses are put into the story in an earlier book or even earlier in the same book. Sirius was mentioned in the first book, but we thought nothing of it. I am very excited to find out who it is, but I am not going to find out until July 16th (unfortunately). I like hearing everyone's theories about who it is so keep writing people!

Do you have anything else you'd like to add? Maybe a theory you've concocted, a shout-out?
I don't think I have any theories to put out there. Anyone reading can go to the editorials page and get all the theories imaginable. I like the ideas about the veil, Petunia, and future deaths. I would like to say "HEY!" to Rachel Mohr! My love of Harry Potter actually got me on Mugglenet! Hey to weasel (Colleen), and hey to all my other friends if they ever come on here.(I am working on getting everyone hooked on HP at the moment)
