Potter Profile - Kathryn

May 29, 2005

What is your favorite Harry Potter book and why?
Well, my favorite book right now is POA. I find this book interesting because there is no lingering threat of Voldemort. Harry also meets is Godfather, and one of my favorite characters, Sirius. Though, I do love the Yule Ball scene in GOF between Ron and Hermione.

Did you like the third movie or not and why?
I guess I could say I liked it. It was better than the first two, only because the trio had more freedoms and it was a very darker from the other two. On the down side it was a bit disappointing that they didn't go into detail about the Marauders and there was no Cho Chang, which got me mad! Other than that I thought it was an over all good movie.

If you could spend the day as one character from the books, who would it be?
I would just like to be at Hogwarts to just be there and learn spells, but I would probably love to be Tonks or Ginny. I would love to be Tonks because she can change her appearance, and I think that would be awesome! I would like to be Ginny because she is treated like the runt in the family and I would love to show all those boys what a girl is made of!

What do you think of all this "relationship" arguments about who will end up with who, etc.?
Oh boy! Well, I think I'll start with Hermione/Ron. I do believe they will get together eventually (probably not until book 7). And as for Harry, I think he'll get together with Susan Bones. She has just a chance as any. And Ginny will get together with Dean or Neville.

What is your favorite moment of the series so far?
My favorite scene...hmm... Well, I think it would have to be after Harry kisses Cho, when he tells Ron and Hermione what happened. I think it's soo funny, and it's what some kids their age go through. And of course Ron's reactions are absolutely hysterical!

Who do you think the Half-Blood prince is?
Well, I think Snape could be, only because I believe he is part Vampire. But then there is the possibilty of Hagrid or Dumbledore. I guess I'm not very sure until I've read the book.

Do you have anything else you'd like to add? Maybe a theory you've concocted, a shout-out?
I would just like to say thank you MuggleNet for picking me as Fan of the Week! I also want to thank my fourth grade teacher for getting me started in Harry Potter! I want to give a shout out to my good friend Alexa; she and I are the best of friends, and she's the only friend of mine thats into HP! I would also like to point out the covers of the books. I've noticed, since the fourth book, some one has died that was on the cover, like Cedric and Sirius. So, of course I think the next person to die in the series is, no other than, Dumbledore. So, I'd like to conclude thanking MuggleNet once again for picking me, and for making such a wonderful site!!

I hope you're pleased with yourselves. We could all have been killed — or worse, expelled. Now, if you don't mind, I'm going to bed.
