Potter Profile - Kymber

What is your favorite Harry Potter book and why?
My favorite book would have to be the third one, POA. I simply love the introduction of Sirius Black into the story. He's seems like such a bad guy all the way up until the very end! That book had me on the edge of my seat most of the time I read it. I do like the other books in the series, but I think the third one is the best. Remus Lupin is also introduced, and he is one of my favorite characters. I also like POA because of Hermione's time-turner. Throughout the whole book, you knew she was up to something, but it was hard to put a finger on exactly what it was.

Did you like the third movie or not and why?
I loved the third movie! There were a few things I didn't like, such as the absence of Oliver Wood and Remus Lupin's wolf form, but other than that, I thought it was great. I absolutely loved Gary Oldman in the movie, and when my friend Alex and I saw it for the first time together, we nearly had a heart attack. There is one part in the movie, where he tells Harry that he will always have James and Lily in his heart, and Alex and I had a line in one of our role plays with the exact same thing before we even saw the movie!! It was extrememly weird!! Another thing I like about the third movie was the suspence whenever the dementors were around. I could feel my heart pounding when the dementors were attacking Sirius and Harry, even though, from reading the book, I knew they would live.

If you could spend the day as one character from the books, who would it be?
If I could spend the day as one character, it would have to be Harry. It was a really really tough decision, but in the end, I think it would be great to be Harry. He has an invisibility cloak, for one, which he can use for all types of mischeif and never get caught. He also has the Marauder's Map in his posession, which has got to be the coolest thing the Marauders ever did. Not to mention, Harry can also talk to snakes! I don't know, but I think everyone's fear of snakes could be solved at least a little bit if they could talk to snakes. And lastly, Harry has the firebolt. Im sorry, but the firebolt rules! Who wouldn't pay to be able to ride thing for just one day?

A What do you think of all this "relationship" arguments about who will end up with who, etc.?
I think everyone is freaking out because they're all nervous about who will end up with who. Hermione, without a doubt, will end up with Ron, not Draco or Harry. Firstly, Draco is. . . a Slytherin! He hates muggleborns, and most of all, Hermione Granger. And Harry. . . Harry is more like her best friend. Just because they are the opposite gender, it does not mean they are going to end up together. I think if everyone would calm down and just read the books, and look at what's happening in the movies, it would be obvious who will end up with who.

What is your favorite moment of the series so far?
My favorite moment in the series is when . . . Oh! There are so many of them! Like the time Harry blew up his aunt or the time when Hermione punched Draco! Or even when Ron and Harry stuffed Crabbe and Goyle into a closet. I think, however, my favorite moment, was when Sirius asked Harry to live with him. I know, it's not really a major thing even, because it didn't happen, but I loved it! Harry was so excited that he was going to leave the Dursley's and Sirius had finally proven to Harry he was innocent. I thought it was a happy moment in the midst of a bad event for Harry, and I just thought it was great.

Who do you think the Half-Blood prince is?
Aha! Theory time! Alright, this may come as a shock to you, or maybe not, but I believe the Half-Blood prince is none other than Seamus Finnigan. I know, some of you may be pulling your hair out screaming 'Finnigan!? FINNIGAN!?' But it makes sence! In the first book, Seamus Finnigan tells them all that he is half-blood. His mum is a witch and his dad is a muggle. And in the fifth book, Seamus is extremely irritated with Harry, he wont believe that Voldemort has returned. This is, I believe, because the Half-Blood prince has to either join Voldemort or fight against him (seems more likely) and Seamus knows who he is. Seamus is angry because he doesn't want Voldemort to have returned, he doesn't want to fight against (or for) Voldemort.

Do you have anything else you'd like to add? Maybe a theory you've concocted, a shout-out?
Alright, you've heard my theory, as lame as it might be, so I suppose there isn't much else to say. Well, except, HI ALEX! Hehehe. And also, hi to Cici and Stell. I also want to say hi to JK Rowling, haha, like she'd ever read this, but then again, you never know. I want to say THANK YOU JK for writing Harry Potter. . . And. . . hmm. . .I think that's it. Also, thanks Mugglenet.com for picking me!
