Potter Profile - Mike

Give us your review of Half-Blood Prince.
Well, Half-Blood Prince was pretty good, but so far, not my favorite. Before I even got the book at midnight, Ben (MuggleNet) and another one of my friends had ruined both the Half-Blood Prince and the death for me, which sucked. I enjoyed the ending especially, because the action part of books are always my favorite, but I thought the death was just cruel to us Harry Potter fans.
Did you like the fourth movie or not and why?
I loved the fourth movie. I think they did a great job with it... the humor was great, the action was great, and I thought it was fairly loyal to the book, which is always a plus. I still like Prisoner of Azkaban better, though.
If you could spend the day as one EVIL character from the books, who would it be?
Who else but Voldemort? I mean, pretty much endless powers, a daring yet nasty attitude, able to command armies to do his bidding... what more could you ask for?
Which GOOD character would you want to be for a day?
Dumbledore, definitely... other than the whole death thing. I mean, Dumbledore is the ideal character in the books. He's powerful, liked by ALMOST everyone, has influence almost everywhere he goes, and is a great leader. Not only that, but he's a loyal man who is true to everyone and always willing to give someone the second chance they deserve. He rocks, plain and simple.
If you could have any magical power what would it be?
I think that the ability to change into an animal whenever you want to is completely cool, so I'd definitely choose to be an Animagus. I'm sure an invisibility cloak would be useful at times, and so would the power to be able tell a quill to do your homework whenever you need it to, but being an Animagus beats all of those by a long shot.
What is your favourite moment of the series so far?
My favorite moment in the series is a toss-up between two moments, both from Order of the Phoenix. The first part was when Dumbledore escaped from his office by kicking some serious (edit) - rear end* when he was about to get arrested. Everything from his comments to his magic was awesome. My second favorite moment was when Umbridge tried to arrest Hagrid. He put up one (edit) - heck* of a fight!
Is Snape REALLY good or evil and is Dumbledore REALLY dead?
I've spent many hours thinking about whether or not Snape is good or evil... and I've come to the conclusion that Snape isn't evil. This coincides with my theory (I was convinced by the folks over at DumbledoreIsNotDead.com) that Dumbledore is, uh... not dead.. at all. Or perhaps, Dumbledore is dead, but only for a matter of time... but you can read the rest of my theory in the last question.
Will Harry survive the 7th book?
I really have no idea... I'm still pondering that to this day. I suppose we'll find out in a year or two!
Do you have anything else you'd like to add? Maybe a theory you've concocted, a shout-out?
In regards to my theory from above -- I believe that Dumbledore, like Aslan from the Narnia books, sacrificed himself... he sacrificed himself to save the life of another innocent person. I believe that magic, as with Aslan, will reverse Dumbledore's death and bring him back to life. I also belief that this has already happened... when Dumbledore's tomb burst into flame at his funeral. Dumbledore, in my eyes, is very much alive. (Don't laugh at me if I'm wrong!)
