Potter Profile - Rosanna

June 5, 2008

How did you become a fan of Harry Potter?
Well, I hadn't really heard of Harry Potter until after the first film came out. I saw it for my friends birthday and completely fell in love with the story. I went out to buy the books the day after and read them all, and ever since then I've just adored them.

Which of the four Hogwarts houses do you think you would you belong to?
Ravenclaw. I'm not sure why, but it feels most right. Gryffindor is for brave people, but I don't see myself there. Hufflepuff just dosen't feel right and I hate Slytherins with a passion.

What did you think of The Deathly Hallows?
AMAZING. It wasnt my favourite book of the series, but I really enjoyed it. The structure of the book differs to the others, but I though that was effective as it was the last book of the series. There were some surprises and overall it was fantastic.

What about the fifth movie?
Oh, this has to be my favourite film of the series. We get introduced to some incredible characters, such as Luna, and the adventure at the end appeals most to me as its about teamwork and friendship. I was slightly disappointed when they missed out Ron being Quidditch Keeper and Ron and Hermione being prefects, but I do understand why from a directors point of view. I just wished they included the way Kreacher betrayed Sirius because I believe it has a vital message about how we treat others. I was pleased the way they made Luna a more significant character and I would like to congratulate Evanna Lynch on her fantastic performance.

Is there any character you wish had died or any character you wish hadn't died?
Not really . . . I was so pleased that Voldemort and Bellatrix died but I really wish Remus and Tonks had survived. I was so worried J.K was going to kill Harry, Ron or Hermione because that would leave the reader with a sad feeling when they closed the book, but this way we can feel content that they lived happily and married.

Will Harry and Draco's children ever become friends?
Yes, I think they will. Harry saved Draco from the Fiendfyre so Draco is in Harrys debt. Also, I just have a feeling they will.

Is there anything else you would like to add?
Yes, Harry Potter is a creation of genius and I cannot imagine life without it.

Even if I could, I wouldn't. Scars can come in handy. I have one myself above my left knee that is a perfect map of the London Underground.
