Potter Profile - Tricia

October 10, 2004

What is your favorite Harry Potter book and why?
A tough choice - it's a bit of a toss-up between PoA and GoF. PoA because that's when we were introduced to Sirius (and I love Padfoot, I was so sad after OotP :'() and GoF because there's a lot more action and danger involved. I reckon the movie of GoF will be awesome!

Did you like the third movie or not and why?
I love all the HP movies! Although to be absolutely honest, the third movie wasn't my favourite - it needed to go into more detail about the Marauders. It was never really explained how Lupin knew how to work the Map. The first movie was the best because it remained so true to the book.

If you could spend the day as one character from the books, who would it be?
Probably Hermione - I'd love to be as intelligent as her and she's always in the thick of the action! It would be cool to be Snape though - I'd love to be able to get inside his head. He's probably the most interesting characters because there's a certain mystery about him.

A What do you think of all this "relationship" arguments about who will end up with who, etc.?
Everyone knows Hermione and Ron will get together, it's just a case of when! As for the whole Lupin/Sirius relationship thing (pre-OotP), it made for interesting fanfiction, but it just wasn't happening! Maybe, maybe... Lupin had a thing for Lily in the past. I'm sure JKR will let us know in due course!

What is your favorite moment of the series so far?
Too many to think of! I quite enjoyed it when Hermione socked it to Draco in PoA (he so deserved it!), I've got to say the best bits all involved the Weasley twins. The fireworks! The portable swamps! They are good value those boys! :-D

Who do you think the Half-Blood prince is?
Someone we haven't met before, possibly this McGlaggan guy everyone keeps talking about, possibly someone else. I doubt very much it will be a character that we have met before, unless they've had a very brief mention in one of the earlier books like Sirius did.

Do you have anything else you'd like to add? Maybe a theory you've concocted, a shout-out?
Fudge is a Death Eater! I reckon that's why he was so keen to pretend Voldemort hadn't returned - the sooner everyone realised he was back, to sooner Fudge would be discovered as a DE. We'll soon see!

Harry stared at the word "Pig," then looked up at the tiny owl now zooming around the light fixture on the ceiling. He had never seen anything that looked less like a pig.
