Potter Profile - Tricia

July 5, 2009
First off, how did you become a Harry Potter fan?
I first became a Harry Potter fan when the Third Book was being released. I was
watching TV and they were talking about it, and people kept going on about how these
books, that if you pick them up you just cant put down, and me being someone that
had never finished a book in my life thought, no way, so I thought I'd go see what
it was about, and went and got P.S. well I finished it by the next day and then went
straight back and got all the others that were out at that time. and read and reread
them over and over.
How are you feeling now that the series is over?
I am sad that we will not be getting any new adventures from our trio, and That we
won't be getting any more great reads from J.K.Rowling, but I have my books, which I
still reread, and the movie's, which so I don't go crazy for them not being totally
true to the books, I treat as great fanfics, that bring my beloved world of harry
alive. But I will never let the world of Harry Potter die.
Let's talk magical objects. What would you see standing in front of The
Mirror of Erised?
OK, this might sound terribly greedy, but I would see my self in front of a Hogwarts
style house, Decorated with photo's on the walls, of me when i met all the
different, HP stars, and Directors, and J.K.Rowling. And Photo's of all my HCR
friends from the many meet ups we had all over the world.
Pretend that all of the Time Turners were in fact not destroyed. What
would you use one for?
If I was lucky enough to get to use one of these most wonderful items, I would
definitely have to go back to the very start of Harry Potter, instead of coming
into the world of harry half way through.
Congratulations! You just inherited a pair of Vanishing Cabinets! Where
would you place them?
Does it have to be a pair, can't I have more, lol, OK a pair, well one would be
hidden in my bedroom, and the other would be hidden by a lot of secrecy and anti
muggle spells, and placed at Orlando Florida, so that I could go to Harry World over
and over, and to the other attractions there. I love roller coasters, and cuddling all those fabulous characters every where.
If there was a way to make a Horcrux without committing murder, would you
do it?
OH NO, I wouldn't split my soul, even if I didn't have to murder, I'd like the idea
of living forever, but not if it meant growing old, I think I would rather find a
vampire to bite me then split my soul.
Finally, which Hallow are you most drawn to and why?
Oh my to choose between the three, the Elder Wand, The Resurrection Stone, or the
Cloak of Invisibility, that's hard. There are good uses to have all, but if I truly
had to choose, I think I would have to choose the Elder Wand, because that way if I
knew that evil would never be able to beat me, and the other things that are
possible from the other Hallows. I'm sure I could try to attempt a spell to have
these things if required. Though I know no spell will bring back the dead.
Is there anything else you would like to add?
Before Harry Potter, I really didn't do much, or like that much, But since Harry
Potter came into my life, I have dreams, I want to travel around the world, I have
met amazing people from all over the world, And I enjoy a lot more things, things
that I had never tried, or dreamt of trying. The world of Harry Potter has changed
my world for the better. Plus, Thank you to Mugglenet, for keeping us up to date
with every thing and anything related to the world of Harry Potter.
