Potter Profile - Whiskers

January 24, 2010
First off, how did you become a Harry Potter fan?
Harry Potter came out in Africa a long time after it came out in the US, where my father travels all the time for work. He brought me back a copy
of philosohers stone and I read it in only two weeks. I begged him to get me the rest of the books (only two more, at the time) next time we went to the US
but that was 4 months away! I tried to find them online to read them, and that is when I found MuggleNet.
It has been over two years since Deathly Hallows came out and we found out
how the series ended. Do you have the same reaction to the ending now, as
you did then?
Yes, and no. I still very happy that Harry killed Voldemort but the first time I read the book, I cried and cried and cried, mostly because there was nothing
new to look forward to! Now I cry because the book is awesome and incredible and has helped me learn to write english like never before. It also helped me
learn how the British speak, which is cool. I want to live in UK someday.
Exciting things are happening in 2010! What event makes you tinkle with
excitement?
Not too much is happening in Africa this year, but I wish I could travel to the US with Dad so I could go to Florida and visit Hogwarts. I am excited for
the movie too, but I think I have to wait a few months after it is released everywhere else to see it.
Harry Potter: The Exhibition is moving to Ontario, Canada in the spring.
If you have made it to the exhibition, what did you think? If not, where
do you hope it travels in the future?
Since I know it will never travel to Africa, I vote for UK...which is at least somewhat close to me.
Deathly Hallows: Part 1 is being released later this year. We know the WB
is trying to make the best true-to-the-book movie as possible, but if they
had to leave something out, it should be...?
NOTHING! Put it everything, it's the best book ever!
Harry Potter Word Association: Sorcerer's Stone
(Type the first word that comes to mind - no cheating!)
A. Discovery - When Harry discovers he is a wizard...so cool.
B. Friendship - Trio
C. Bravery - Harry
If you Twitter, who is your favorite Potter star to follow and why? Do you
follow MuggleNet? Staff?
I do twitter, and I do follow MuggleNet and all its staff. I love reading all of Nick's funny updates!
Is there anything else you would like to add?
Africa is a super cool country and I feel proud to be one of the first fans to be chosen from here. Thank you MuggleNet!
