Potter Profile - Zahra

Fan Question of the Week: If Harry survives the battle with Voldemort, what do you think will happen to him? What will the future hold for him? (Submitted by Ayzil) I want to make a prediction. I am convinced Harry will die in the seventh book, but if under any circumstances he survives, then maybe he will lose all the powers he got from Voldemort, such as the ability to perceive and speak Parseltongue. He'll still have his Seeking capabilities in Quidditch as he inherited them from his father, not Voldemort. Maybe in the future, Harry emerges as a brilliant and famous Seeker playing on the national team or a teacher of the by-then jinx-free Defense Against the Dark Arts post. He might become an Auror in the Ministry of Magic and lead a peaceful life in the wizarding world.

How did you become a fan of Harry Potter?
First, to be honest, Harry Potter's scar is fabulous. The image of a bolt of lightning on his forehead was the first fascinating thing for me in this book and after reading about this scar in the beginning of the book, I can remember not wanting to put the book down. Secondly, the deep feelings of Harry and myself are very much alike. And above all these, in the ending chapters of Sorcerer's Stone, the scene in which Harry, Ron and Hermione played on the chess board was the most touching moment in the book because it gave an excellent demonstration of the strength of the friendship bond between the three young fellows. And after reading all this I couldn't restrain myself from reading all HP books and I couldn't help myself from drifting into the words of the HP series.

What is your favorite Harry Potter book and movie?
My most favorite book is the fifth one in the HP series, Harry Potter and the Order of Phoenix, because this was the darkest and gloomiest of all. It answered a lot [of] questions in my mind. For the first time, we saw Harry envying his best friend and fighting with the evil urge to attack Dumbledore. In this book, we read the encounter of Dumbledore and Voldemort and we departed with one of the main characters, Sirius Black. My favorite HP movie is the Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets because in this film, the material of the book has been presented without any alterations and all the main stuff has been included.

If you could be any character in the series, who would you be?
Surely, who other than Harry Potter? But I would ask forgiveness of HP fans then because if that would happen, then Harry's name would need to be changed to Harnie Potter or something like this to fit my gender, lol.

What is one thing you would like to see happen in Book 7?
I plead to Rowling, and though I have full confidence that she won't underestimate the expectations of all HP fans, that Book 7 should be a complete answer to all our questions. I long to see Neville revenging Voldemort for the fate of his parents in Book 7.

If you could change anything about the series, what would it be?
The Death-Day Party was a bit boring in COS and it appeared to have the same impression on Harry, Ron and Hermione but when it came to the part when Harry hears the voice of Basilisk, the story becomes interesting again.

Is there anything else you would like to add?
My fingers are crossed about the upcoming book. I am curious to find out how Rowling unveils everything and finishes the glorious adventure of "The Chosen One."

Quotes
I still don't like your tone, boy. If you can speak of your beatings in that casual way, they clearly aren't hitting you hard enough. Petunia, I'd write if I were you. Make it clear that you approve the use of extreme force in this boy's case.
