Edible Magic Wands

Natasha and Julianna created this recipe themselves, inspired by the wands in Harry Potter and their favorite childhood treat: chocolate-dipped pretzels!

Ingredients
  

Yogurt Chips

  • 1 1/2 cup yogurt chips
  • 1 Tbsp. canola oil
  • food coloring (as desired)

Chocolate

  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp. canola oil

Wands

  • pretzel sticks
  • sprinkles
  • colored sugars

Instructions
 

Yogurt

  • Melt yogurt chips in a tall microwave cup for one minute and then stir in canola oil until desired consistency is achieved. Add few drops of liquid or gel food dye and stir to combine.
  • Repeat this process for each desired color.

Chocolate

  • Microwave chocolate chips in 30-second intervals until melted and then stir in canola oil until desired consistency is achieved.

Assembly

  • Cover work surface with parchment or wax paper. Dip pretzel into desired base color and twirl until evenly coated.
  • Place dipped wand on paper and decorate with candy, sprinkles, or more yogurt or chocolate.
  • Refrigerate wands for 25 minutes before serving to set.
