Happee Birthdae Cake Popsicles by Jennifer

Got something for ya. ‘Fraid I might have sat on it at some point! I imagine that it’ll taste fine just the same. Baked it myself. Words and all.” (Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone)

Every summertime Harry Potter-themed birthday party needs to include these popsicles. They are easily the tastiest recipe in this series, using real funfetti cake mix. We’re not exactly sure that the cake Hagrid made for Harry’s eleventh birthday in the film was funfetti, but we also have no evidence to the contrary. Wow your friends with these sweet and creamy treats!

Instructions
Popsicles
  1. Whisk together cake mix and milk.
  2. Fold in whipped topping.
  3. Carefully spoon mixture into popsicle molds. Insert popsicle sticks.
  4. Freeze for at least five hours before eating. For best results, freeze overnight.
Decorating
  1. If desired, you can decorate by dipping the frozen popsicles into melted white chocolate. Start by melting chocolate and dividing into a larger container for dipping and a smaller container for drizzling.
  2. For the larger container, mix in red food coloring, starting small before adding until the optimal color is achieved (pink).
  3. For the smaller container, mix in green food coloring, starting small before adding until the optimal color is achieved.
  4. Dip frozen popsicles in the pink chocolate.
  5. Drizzle green chocolate over the popsicles.
