I used to feel like breaking down
I used to feel out of place
Like somehow I did not belong
and no one understood me
I used to wanna run away
I used to lock my self under the stairs
With Uncle Vernon yelling so loud
No one could hear me screaming

Nobody knew what it was like to be like me!

I wanted to be somebody else
I was sick of feeling so left out
I was desparate to find something more
By the day I turned eleven
I was stuck inside a world I hated
I was sick of everyone around
With big fake smiles and stupid lies
When deep inside I was bleeding

I did know what it was like, when nothing felt alright

Dudley used to get whatever he wanted
And I had to work for nothing at all

I'm no longer hurt

I'm no longer left out in the dark
I'm no longer kicked when I am down
I no longer feel like I've been pushed around
I'm no longer on the edge of breaking down
And I have my friends to save me
