A Little About Me: Before being asked to join the MuggleNet staff in early 2012, I was (and still am) a member of the MuggleCast transcription team since early 2009 - working as a transcriber since February 2009, transcript editor since February 2010, and senior transcript editor since October 2011. I am also the senior editor for the MuggleNet Academia and Alohomora! transcripts which started up in April 2012. I don't remember exactly when I started reading the Harry Potter books, but it was probably around 1999/2000. I did not discover the online fan community until much later, but I am forever grateful that I did in the end as it taught me to always stay true to myself and introduced me to so many lifelong friends. I am about to graduate from the University of Auckland with a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) in Information Systems.

A Little About Me: One of the only good things to come out of 6th grade was Harry Potter, which our teacher read to us, and that was my introduction to the world of Harry Potter. Ever since then Harry Potter has become a big part of my life. I love participating in the Harry Potter fandom. Besides Harry Potter I love listening to music, so my iPod is always near. I also rap in my spare time. Watching movies has become a hobby of mine after I took a Film as Literature class in high school (thanks Mr. Burrows!). I'm also big on sports, I support the Golden State Warriors, San Francisco 49ers, Minnesota Vikings, San Francisco Giants, and Boston Red Sox to death. A Little About Me: I have been a fan of the Harry Potter movies since the first one but I didn't get into the books until much later, finally finishing Deathly Hallows in 2009, by which time I was completely in love. I found MuggleCast in January 2010 and by October that year I was a transcriber. I proceeded to eagerly volunteer to transcribe for Alohomora! and MuggleNet Academia in 2012. My collection of Harry Potter books, t-shirts, necklaces, wands and other merchandise are my most prized possessions. I can quote HP and The Hunger Games back to front, and StarKid just as much. Glee is awesome too. I have loved to dance ever since I could stand and before I could walk, and I love to travel. A Little About Me: I started reading the Harry Potter books when I was about six years old, and I've been hooked ever since. I got in trouble at lot as a kid because I'd be reading HP under the covers at three in the morning. My mom actually hid Order of the Pheonix from me so that she and my siblings could have a chance to read it. I've read the books over fifty times each, and I'm still finding new genius details every time. I practically have the books memorized, and I can find something HP related in almost anything. I'm fairly new to the fandom aspect – I discovered MuggleNet about a year ago, and I'm so glad I did. I'm majoring in English Teaching at Brigham Young University in Utah, and my life's dream is to be a writer. I'm currently vying for the top commenter position on the Alohomora! site, and when I'm not on there being a mod (pen name: Ali Wood) or transcribing the Alohomora! podcast, or writing, or working at the bowling alley on campus, or doing my homework, I love to sing, play the flute, cook, and play tennis. A Little About Me: I am currently a high school student looking to eventually complete law school. A Little About Me: I've had a passion for Harry Potter since I was seven or eight. I'm looking for a literary agent and just starting to get my writing career off the ground! I have over one hundred handwritten journals. I write novels about Somatoform disorders in men and boys. Cope Syndrome is my favorite project, and I've been working on it for five years. A Little About Me: I've been an avid Harry Potter fan since I was nine years old when my parents dragged me to see Sorcerer's Stone in the theatre. Needless to say, I have them to thank for introducing me to this wizarding world that has been such an integral part of my life. Since picking up a copy of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone in a small bookshop, I've read the series eighteen times and still cannot seem to put them down. There were countless Halloweens growing up where I went dressed as Hermione. But perhaps the most exciting time of wearing my Hogwarts robes was when I visited the Wizarding World and was constantly mistaken for an employee.
Living here in NYC has given me innumerable opportunities to experience the Harry Potter fandom in new ways. I attended the red carpet premiere of Deathly Hallows: Part 1 and the opening of Harry Potter: The Exhibition. I've also been privileged to see Alan Rickman on stage twice and, of course, to see Dan in How to Succeed in Business without Really Trying. When I'm not seeking out Harry Potter events, I work in a small bakery on the Upper West Side and attend The King's College, looking for any excuse to write a paper about Harry Potter.

A Little About Me: I have been a regular visitor of MuggleNet since I was thirteen years old, so working for the site has become a dream come true for me. I first got into Harry Potter when I was eight, when my mum bought me a copy of Sorcerer's Stone as an attempt to curb my TV addiction. Soon afterward, I established a reputation in my elementary school as being a diehard Potterphile, something that has carried over into adulthood. A Little About Me: I started reading the Harry Potter books sometime between the releases of Books 3 and 4, and never looked back. A Little About Me: I first got interested into Harry Potter in April 2003, when I was eleven years old. I got the Chamber of Secrets DVD for Easter of that year. I liked the film and DVD and the following summer, my family and I saw the Prisoner of Azkaban movie, the first Potter movie I saw in the theater. I remember seeing the film at least four times that summer. We later went on to see the remaining films in the theater later on. In July 2010, my family and I went to the Wizarding World at Universal Studios Florida. My mom was picked by Ollivander to get a wand (similar to the scene in the Sorcerer's book/movie). We also stayed in this large condo; it was really nice! The Florida trip was good, except that it was too crowded and too hot! The following summer, we went to the Harry Potter Exhibit when it was at Discovery Times Square; we got there on an Academy bus. We plan to go there again this Christmastime when it returns to Discovery Times Square.
My activities include drawing, Photoshopping, surfing the Internet, watching YouTube videos, and writing little stories, often in screenplay format. From 2001 to 2006, I attended a program called Animation Arts. I was the youngest student present when I first went there. I made little animated shorts and pieces of animation, such as a ball bouncing up and down. For high school, I went to the vocational school Burlington County Institute of Technology, on the campus in Medford, NJ, focusing on Computer Science; I was part of the class of 2010. I went to a local community college, Burlington County College, from 2010 to 2012, getting an AA Liberal Arts degree. I have since transferred to Rutgers, The State of New Jersey, Camden campus since September 2012, getting a degree in Graphic Design.

A Little About Me: I started reading Harry Potter right before Goblet of Fire came out, and was hooked instantly. I tried to get all of my friends to read it, and was even successful in some cases. I started listening to MuggleCast at Episode 100, almost three years ago, and have been addicted since. I became a member of the transcription team in February 2009, which I enjoy profusely. Being even a small part of something that so many people (including me) enjoy so much is a real honor. I'm really just a huge nerd. I love to read, and it startles me that more people don't. I also love to sing, though I am my own worst critic.

A Little About Me: I first explored the mysterious world of Harry Potter in 8th grade when I began reading the books for a class reading contest. Shortly after I saw Goblet of Fire in theaters. Inspired by the movies and books, my imagination was suddenly unleashed. My love for learning, connecting with others and sharing ideas through Harry Potter only continues to grow each year. It's definitely a dream come true to be able to contribute to MuggleNet as a transcriber. A Little About Me: I can still remember my earliest courtships with the Harry Potter series as plain as day. When I was six years old, I won a reading contest at my local library and my prize was a copy of Sorcerer's Stone, but I was so appalled that the librarians thought I would like such a BOY book that I donated it right back to the library. Two years later, I opened a Harry Potter book for the first time when I found a copy of Prisoner of Azkaban in my second grade classroom. Finally giving the boy wizard a chance, I opened the book, thought to my eight-year-old self, "Hermy-won is a weird name," and never looked back.
Twelve years later, Harry Potter continues to be a major part of my life. Beyond the fandom, though, I am currently working towards a bachelor's degree in Narrative Studies at the University of Southern California, working as a reader and editor for the poetry section of Teen Ink Magazine, and serving on the executive board of my university's Trojan Dance Marathon, which benefits the Children's Miracle Network. I am blessed to have a beautiful group of family and friends that support me in all my weirdness, and for these people I am eternally grateful.

A Little About Me: I became a Harry Potter fan back when the first movie was released. For some crazy reason unknown to me, I was reluctant to read the books, but the movie looked cool so I watched it and was immediately hooked. A Little About Me: I was first introduced to the Potter-verse in fourth grade. At that time, I had recently moved and was the awkward, shy new girl at school. My teacher had been reading Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone to the class and, by the time I joined in, the trio was tangled in Devil's Snare en route to the Stone. At first, I was extremely confused as to what my teacher was reading, and why everyone seemed to be so enthralled with such a preposterous story - and that lasted all of five minutes. I was instantly hooked, and have been since that moment. I often retreat into that magical world that I so love, either through the books, the movies, or fan-fiction, which I also enjoy writing whenever a plot bunny shall begin hopping incessantly in my mind. And now, I feel as though I am almost a part of this world as a transcriber for Alohomora! I've been following MuggleNet for approximately 10 years and it was a little nerdy dream of mine to be a part of the team, and now here I am!
Unfortunately, I don't have too much free time on my hands, as I am a full-time Law student. However, I do try to devote as much time as possible to my faith, family, friends, and fun! I am also a major music, movie, and book fanatic and literally have hundreds of favorites, and this list continues to grow. My current obsessions are The Beatles (Always <3), Florence + the Machine, American History X, Superbad, and I am presently engrossed with Gary Oldman's 'Nil By Mouth'. Also, I am fanatical about possibly every crime/legal drama (go figure, haha!) currently on air, especially Criminal Minds (and yes, I do love Spencer Reid). My love for anime also knows no bounds, especially in regards to Dragonball Z, Avatar: The Last Airbender, and the Legend of Korra.

A Little About Me: Soon to be college grad with a degree in English Literature, I love anything that tells a good story - be it a good book, movie, song, or television show. J.K. Rowling and her story of a boy wizard stole my heart at 12 and I've never been the same. A Little About Me: In addition to loving Harry Potter, I'm also a huge film and history fan.
