A Little About Me: I got the French translator job back in March 2007 and the translator manager job in May and I have to say I really like it. I love working with the team, people are great, and passionate. Plus, I love being surrounded by the world of Harry Potter, of course, as I've been a reader and watcher of the series since I'm 10 or something. But, even if MuggleNet takes a big part of my day time, I try to have a life outside of my screen! I'm a huge reader, also a hard-working dancer, and I love sport (tennis, in particular). In the end, I'm a Film Making Student, hoping to direct one day such great movies as the Potter ones!

A Little About Me: I have always seen the staff here at MNet like heroes or legends, so when Andrew let me be a part of this it was a dream came true. I’m Italian but I live in Argentina, so I’m a little isolated from all the HP fan world. I first met Harry Potter in 1999 and it was love at first sight. Ever since then, my friends have wished that I had never heard of Harry Potter! Let’s just say that I’m not that nice with people who tell me that magic doesn’t exist (a part of me still holds hope…maybe it is just hidden). I love learning languages (by now I’ve learned 5) and reading a lot. I feed my P.O.D. (Potter Obsession Disorder) with lots of fan fiction, fan art, MuggleCast and News. My favourite music includes Blink 182, Linkin Park, Queen, The Killers, Classic Rock, 80’s Music and Arbol (Argentinean Rock is awesome, you should try to check it out!). I’m a senior at my high school and I’m going to study films when I go to college - love to watch them, love to make them. Being online in this world, as I can’t be physically, is amazing. We are working very hard with Sagrario to keep every Spanish Speaker in touch with it!

About Me: Anyone who knows me knows I'm an absolute sucker for evil villains and pistachio ice cream. So, naturally, I was delighted when I discovered the Harry Potter books and a brand new addiction back in 1998 despite its lack of creamy pistachio goodness. They've continued to delight me right through to the end and Mugglenet has managed to keep me sane, informed and amused in that time too. It's great to have the opportunity to translate the news and give something back to a site that's given so much to me.

A Little About Me: I have been a Harry Potter fan since I was about 14 and it has influenced my life in so many ways. I'm one of the translators since March and it is just amazing to be part of MuggleNet. It makes me so proud. I'm a university student at the University in Münster, in October I'll be starting my fifth semester. My major is English Language and Literature and my two minors are History and Religious Studies. I love the English language almost as much as my mother tongue German and translating is a perfect job for me. When I'm not studying, reading Harry Potter or HP-related editorials I'm reading something else. I also enjoy writing, meeting up with friends or watching TV or a good movie. I also almost always listen to music (Bowling For Soup, Juli, Jack Johnson, Jimmy Eat World, O.C. Soundtracks).

Fardo
Age: (You don't ask a lady about her age!)
Location: Groningen, The Netherlands
Language: Dutch
About Me: I am a teacher and I live with a three-legged cat, a hamster called Dobby, two friends, and my boyfriend whom I met while I was selling firewhiskey, cocktails and butterbeer in a shabby bar. I slipped a love potion in his butterbeer six years ago and he hasn't left since. After being sceptic about the Harry Potter books because they were such a hype, I decided if I wanted to have an opinion about them, I should read the books. I sort of got seriously hooked then. I much admire JK Rowling as she uses language in such an extraordinary and amazingly creative way. I've read a lot of books but the Harry Potters are (still) my very favorites!
