Potter Purim Party: Celebrations with “Harry Potter” themes are universal

Whether you are celebrating a birthday, anniversary, or a holiday event, we are sent stories all the time of Harry Potter themed gatherings. Muggles dressing up in wizard robes, food being made to recreate a Hogwarts feast, and games to reenact scenes from the Potter series.

Today, we received a story from young MuggleNet fans Hannah and Ben Appleman, whose family recently held their Purim party filled with Harry Potter themes. Ben and Hannah created a poem to discover Potter items in cauldrons for the guests of the Purim party. Purim is a Jewish holiday that commemorates the deliverance of the Jewish people in the ancient Persian Empire from destruction in the wake of a plot by Haman.
