Fan Art of the Week: “Ravenclaw Common Room”

by Keith Hawk · September 27, 2011

This week’s Fan Art piece comes from Sophie, an oil pastel rendering of the ‘Ravenclaw Common Room.’ Check out the full-size drawing with all of its wonderful detail right here (under tab Sophia del Plato).

Noah’s Notes: This room has got it all – it has the gleaming statue of Rowena Ravenclaw, shelves upon shelves of hefty-looking books, ancient runes lining the walls, constellations on the ceiling, and I must say the sun-dial is a nice touch. Due to Sophia’s expertise in drawing, the space truly looks wide and round enough to hold a large group of studying Ravenclaws. Great work Sophie!

You can learn how to submit your own Harry Potter fan art to us as well as view our archives by heading to our Fan Art Section. Perhaps you can have your art piece highlighted on the front page just like Sophie. See you next week!
