Tom Felton update: “Labyrinth”, MegaCon, and “From the Rough” release Friday

With all of the recent news surrounding Dan Radcliffe’s new film The Woman in Black, we also need to mention another former Harry Potter star, Tom Felton, who also has a few roles coming out soon.

Tom is starring in the sports movie From the Rough, which is scheduled for release this Friday, February 3rd. The film is based on the true story of Catanan Starks, a former swim coach at Tennesse State University, who became the first woman ever to coach a college mens’ golf team. Tom plays the character of Edward, who is a budding golfer from England.

Additionally, Tom will be starring in the upcoming mini-series, Labyrinth, where he stars as Raymond-Roger de Trencavel, Viscount of Carcassonne. The real Viscount of Carcassonne died in 1209 a martyr, trying to protect his Cathar citizens from genocide.

Finally, MuggleNet will be covering the MegaCon convention in a couple of weeks as Tom will be a guest star at the convention and will be having a photo and autograph session as well as a panel where he will discuss Potter with the fans attending the convention.
