Rumor: “Wizarding World” expansion details at Universal Orlando

While some of the expansion details for the Wizarding World of Harry Potter theme park at Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida have surfaced prior to this, nothing has been officially confirmed or denied. Recently, a discussion between a fan of the series and workers at the park revealed several new details that could be included in the expansion.

AGAIN, THESE ARE ONLY RUMORS!

The new expansion is said to include a Diagon Alley-themed area, complete with a Gringott’s bank and a Gringott’s Bank Cart ride, (concept art can be viewed here). We also previously informed you that there is a possibility of a Hogwarts Express train ride that will connect the new area to the already existing station in Hogsmeade. This will allow fans to ride the Hogwarts Express from the Diagon Alley area of the park to Hogsmeade Station, an exceptional idea.

Now, several new rumors include a Quidditch pitch area, a Triwizard event scenery, and a Chamber of Secrets ride. Additionally, a park employee informed our source that there is currently talk of adding an animatronic Whomping Willow to the original castle scenery.
