First production photo of Emma Watson in Sofia Coppola’s “Bling Ring”

Yesterday was the first day of filming for not only Dan Radcliffe in his latest project, To Kill Your Darlings, which is being filmed in New York City as we reported yesterday, but also the first day of filming on for Emma Watson in Los Angeles in her latest film project The Bling Ring, which is directed by Sofia Coppola.

The Bling Ring is inspired by a true story about a group of teenagers who commit a ring of celebrity burglaries. They are best known as the ‘Hollywood Hills Burglar Bunch’, as they were caught raiding the houses of some very famous stars including Orlando Bloom, Paris Hilton, Rachel Bilson, Megan Fox and Lindsay Lohan.

Emma will also be seen in her movie Perks of Being a Wallflower, which won its appeal with the MPAA rating from an ‘R’ rating to a ‘PG-13’ rating. She is also slated to star in Your Voice in My Head, which will be directed by Harry Potter director David Yates, as well as possibly starring as Belle in Guillermo del Toro’s Beauty and the Beast project.
