Hermione Granger ranks No. 2 Most Powerful Character in Literature

The month of March is Women’s History Month, and to mark the occasion of powerful women in history, FlavorWire published an article on the most powerful women in literature.

According to the article, Hermione Granger was listed as the second most powerful female character in literature only falling behind Jane Eyre from the 1847 novel Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte.

In the Harry Potter books, Hermione starts as an insufferable know-it-all, blossoms into a whip-smart beauty who doesn’t suffer fools (except Ron), and ends up as the glue that holds the whole operation together.
