Evanna Lynch joins Gary Oldman in crime thriller “Monster Butler”

Actress Evanna Lynch – who portrayed the role of Luna Lovegood in the Harry Potter series – has been slated to join Garry Oldman – who portrayed Sirius Black – along with Dominic Monaghan and Joanne Whalley in an indie crime thriller titled, Monster Butler.

The film, according to The Hollywood Reporter, will tell the true story of Roy Fontaine, aka Archibald Hall, who was a bisexual jewel theif, con man, and serial killer.

Evanna will play the role of Fiona Carrick-Smith, who is intrigued by her upper-class family’s new and seemingly all-knowing butler. Seeing him as an older, wiser confidant, she confesses her misgivings for her upcoming marriage and her longing for dangerous excitement. She soon acts on her desires with acts of reckless behaviour that lead to betrayal and tragedy.

Filming for the movie is scheduled to begin this week in Scotland.
