Pottermore: “Chamber of Secrets” reveals the history of the Malfoys

Ever wonder how the Malfoy family came into riches? Or why the mansion is located outside Whiltshire? Or even where Draco resides at today?

Earlier this morning, Pottermore gave early access to four chapters from Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets and some new information was revealed. We will not spoil these tidbits of information for those of you who wish to find it out on your own, but the background story of the Malfoy family is very in-depth.

Additionally, some information on wizards and their relationship to modern-day technology was revealed. You’ll also be challenged to keep Aunt Petunia’s cake for the Masons in the air and de-gnome the Weasley garden.

If you are not in the Slytherin House, do not fret, you will be gaining access to Book Two in a day and you will be able to discover the new information for yourself.
