Back in June 2009, MuggleNet creator Emerson Spartz – along with Ben Schoen – published the controversial book Harry Potter Should Have Died. The book covers several topics from the Harry Potter series ranging from the question that inspired the bold title to the question of Snape’s heroism.

Vloggers and dedicated Potter fans Alex and Laura have discussed a few of the questions brought up in this book. In the video, they give their opinions on whether or not they think Harry should have died, what they think of Hufflepuff House, their views on Gryffindors being too glorified, and more. Check out the video to see the entire discussion and how their opinions differ from what the book says.

Harry Potter Should Have Died is a great companion book for all Potter fans. If you haven’t read it yet and you’d like to indulge in something interesting and opinionated, this is the book to read!
