Get involved and share your story in the new HPA campaign “Superman is an Immigrant”

If you are wondering how Superman can be related to immigration reform and the Harry Potter Alliance, then look no further than right here as the latest campaign has been recently launched by the HPA and your participation is requested.

Born on Krypton, he came to this country with the promise of Hope – the symbol he bears on his chest. Many of our families also have a history of immigration. We share Superman’s hope and we continue his fight for truth, justice and the American Way.

The HPA’s Imagine Better Network (who brought you “Hunger Is Not A Game“) has partnered with Pulitzer Prize winning journalist and undocumented American Jose Antonio Vargas and Define American on a Man of Steel campaign called “Superman Is An Immigrant.”

Wil Wheaton and John Green have both publicly supported the campaign as well as a variety of other media outlets. You can join the campaign by simply doing this:

    • Take a picture of yourself holding a piece of paper with your family’s immigration story written on it, along with the Superman logo. End your story with “I am the American Way.”
