Congratulations to our Harry Potter Birthday Card Contest Winners

Over the last month, fans of the Harry Potter series and MuggleNet have been sending us their version of the perfect birthday card or image for Harry’s himself. Our favorite wizard celebrated his 33rd birthday yesterday and today we are proud to announce the winners!

1st Place – Lynette D. for the LARGE chalk cake drawing. Lynette stated:

“Attached is the picture of the huge birthday card / chalk mural that my sister, cousin, 2 best friends, and I made at our local park for Harry’s birthday. Based off of the cake that Hagrid makes for Harry in The Philosopher’s Stone, (attached a picture of the cake from the movie for comparison) the mural ended up being about 20 or so feet long, and probably about the same height.
We started off with a vague idea, a picture, and 2 boxes of chalk… 6 hours, 3 trips to the Dollar Tree, and 13 additional boxes of chalk later we finished our project!”
