Rupert Grint gives his support to new Starlight campaign

by Sophie Reid · January 26, 2014

Rupert Grint has once again teamed up with UK charity Starlight, which grants wishes to terminally ill children and provides entertainment in hospitals. Fansite Rupert Grint US has revealed that the charity has given him his own personalized can of Heinz cream of tomato soup (as seen in the picture above). The Heinz “Get Well” campaign, in partnership with Starlight, raises money for the charity to entertain sick children in hospitals. The campaign is described as follows:

The Heinz “Get Well” soup campaign asks the public to purchase personalised cans of “Get Well” soup, from its Facebook page, for loved ones feeling under the weather. With each can of “Get Well” soup sold, 1 GBP will be donated to Starlight, which will enable the charity to send magical storytellers into children’s wards across the UK.

Rupert previously supported the charity in December, when he attended the Starlight Christmas party.

To find out more about the campaign visit their Facebook page here. The personalized cans are available now, in two flavors (cream of tomato and chicken), for GBP3.99.

Will you be lending your support and buying one of these personalized Heinz cans, either for yourself or for someone you know who needs cheering up?
