Daniel Radcliffe to receive star on Hollywood Walk of Fame!

A huge congratulations goes out to Daniel Radcliffe as the announcement came out today that he will be one of 30 celebrities to receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2015.

Variety reports that the Walk of Fame Selection Committee announced the news early this morning, with Dan being honored for his work in the motion picture category. The meeting to decide on who would receive the honors next year was held on June 16, and the chair of the selection committee, Maureen Schultz, stated the following about those stars selected:

We know that the new selections represent the best of the entertainment industry and will be a great addition to the Walk of Fame for both the Hollywood community and fans from around the world who visit Hollywood every year.

The actual ceremonies will, for the most part, be aired to a worldwide audience, though specific dates for each star have not been announced.  We will continue to bring you the most up-to-date information as it becomes available.
