Universal Studios Japan is hiring!

As we recently reported, Universal Studios Japan has held the grand opening for the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. Now, they are looking for talented actors to help bring the experience alive!

Auditions for the following positions will be available:

Hogwarts Express conductor – Seeking male performers to portray mid 30s-60s. Must be able to speak English with a British accent. Will be required to learn and perform an English/Japanese script. Should attend the audition with the indicated script below memorized. Must have at least an N2 level of Japanese Language Proficiency (New JLPT N2) for speaking and listening in order to react with guests in the park. Must be willing to work outdoors.

Wandkeeper at Ollivanders™– Seeking male performers to portray mid 30s-60s. Must be able to speak English with a British accent. Will be required to learn and perform an English/Japanese script. Should attend the audition with the indicated script below memorized. Japanese language fluency/experience a plus but not required.

Beauxbatons students – Seeking female dancers 162 cm or taller with strong ballet technique who can play high school age for roles as students of the Beauxbatons Academy of Magic. Performers will also be required to participate in a variety of seasonal and special shows, events and parades outside of the Wizarding World of Harry Potter™. Rhythmic gymnastics skills a plus. Performers must be willing to work outdoors.

Triwizard Tournament prefect – Female actress to serve as host for the Triwizard Tournament experiences in the Wizarding World of Harry Potter™. Must look and be able to portray high school age and speak English with a British accent. Will be required to learn and perform an English/Japanese script. Should attend the audition with the indicated script below memorized. Candidates must be willing to work outdoors

Choir master – frog choir – Female actress to serve as choir master and host for the frog choir experiences in the Wizarding World of Harry Potter™. Must look and be able to portray high school age and speak English with a British accent. Frog choir master candidates must have a sense of rhythm. Prior choir conducting experience a plus but not a requirement. Will be required to learn and perform an English/Japanese script. Should attend the audition with the indicated script below memorized. Candidates must be willing to work outdoors.
