Video: New interview on Sir Michael Gambon’s “Fortitude”

You may remember a couple of months ago we posted a promotional video for Fortitude, the new television show that stars Sir Michael Gambon. We now bring to you a new interview just ahead of its release!

Courtesy of Digital Spy, the following video goes into detail about two of the show’s characters: Henry Tyson (played by Gambon) and Ronnie Morgan (played by Johnny Harris). During the interview, both actors give a brief insight of their characters’ background and what the show has in store.

About a certain situation that takes place, Gambon says his character “seems to be quite a content person, until this happens, and he gets into trouble. As the show progresses, it seems to get worse and worse, the difficulties, problems and horrors grow.” Harris compliments Gambon’s acting abilities, saying he was “one of the first actors to quite literally blow [his] mind.”  Take a look below:

Fortitude is to premier simultaneously through Sky Europe on January 29 in Austria, Germany, Ireland, Italy, and the UK. On the same day, it will air in the US on Pivot TV. To get you excited, here’s a clip (courtesy of Sky First Episodes) from the first episode:
