UPDATED: Video: New year countdown “Cinderella” trailer and featurette released!

The countdown to the new year may be over, but now that we are well and truly in 2015, the official countdown to the release of the brand new Cinderella has begun!

A new trailer has been released by Walt Disney Studios to celebrate the release of the film this spring. The film, which is directed by Sir Kenneth Branagh (Gilderoy Lockhart), stars Downton Abbey actress Lily James and also features Helena Bonham Carter (Bellatrix Lestrange) as the Fairy Godmother.

A new Cinderella featurette has been released, featuring interviews with Sir Kenneth Branagh and some of the cast, including Helena Bonham Carter, where they talk about the legacy of the story. Check it out below:
