Social Roundup: The one with the photo shoot

by Sophie Reid · May 24, 2015

In this week’s social roundup, we see how Matt Lewis nearly broke the internet, and where in the world the Potter stars have been travelling to, taking part in Potter – and non Potter – related events.

Firstly, Matt Lewis shared some pictures from his latest film set, Me Before You:

And not only do we share a birthday, we also like to wear exactly the same clothes. @realmattdavelewis #mebeforeyou

Matt then went on to break the internet…

And embarrass Jo…

Well, this is awkward. Sorry, Jo… 😔 https://t.co/ASSy3vo4d3

.@jasonsfolly @Mattdavelewis I wouldn't know. I hastily averted my eyes and read an article on Political Correctness to get over the shock.

Meanwhile, other Potter alumni were busy getting ready for shows:

And other Potter stars, including Chris Rankin, Katie Leung, and Tom Felton, were busy flying over the world to attend Potter events:

As well as events closer to home:

Other achievements were celebrated too:

And, finally, Jason Isaacs reminded Tom of some fatherly advice:

I told you about turning your baseball cap backwards son. It's both a fashion and an aerodynamic catastrophe. https://t.co/unrQSYatcc

Aunt Marge’s “lift-off” effect in “Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban” was achieved using a combination of inflatable body parts, prosthetic makeup, air tubes, and wire harness.

Potter History

December 4, 2008 – The Tales of Beedle the Bard is released in the United States and the United Kingdom. To the dismay of some Harry Potter fans, many bookstores did not hold midnight release parties as they did for other books in the Harry Potter series.

Potter Quote

“The Elder Wand cannot serve me properly, Severus, because I am not its true master. The Elder Wand belongs to the wizard who killed its last owner. You killed Albus Dumbledore. While you live, Severus, the Elder Wand cannot be truly mine.”
