Colin Farrell Cast in “Fantastic Beasts”

Earlier today, we were excited to announce that the role of Modesty in Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them has been cast. Now, we have some more Fantastic Beasts news: Irish actor Colin Farrell will be joining the film!

ComingSoon.net reports that Farrell, whose recent work includes roles in Saving Mr. Banks and True Detective, will be playing a wizard named Graves, “a wizard [whom] Newt Scamander (Eddie Redmayne) meets in New York.” No other information about the role has been given.

As always, we will continue to provide updates on Fantastic Beasts. For now, though, it looks like we will have to speculate on what role Graves will play in the film.
