New “Fantastic Beasts” Ad Starring Eddie Redmayne to Air

There’s just under two weeks to go until Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them hits theaters, and excitement around the world is heating up, with plenty of magazine interviews and appearances from the cast around the world. Well, here’s one for the Brits among us. To celebrate the release, Warner Bros. has created a brand new advertisement campaign with Bandstand, which will air in the UK.

The ad, featuring a range of well-known British celebrities sharing their favorite spells from the Harry Potter world, will air for the first time tonight, November 5. The ad will be shown during the commercial breaks of popular Channel 4 comedy panel show 8 Out of Ten Cats, which begins at 9:30 p.m. GMT.

Chris Braithwaite, from Channel 4, commented,

With Harry Potter fans the world over looking forward to Fantastic Beasts, we’re thrilled to launch this new talent-led ad campaign on Channel 4. We all have our favourite moments from the books and films, and these ads are the perfect way to celebrate J.K. Rowling’s [w]izarding [w]orld ahead of the film’s release.

That’s not all – radio station Magic plans to broadcast a special breakfast show, usually called Magic in the Morning, live from

from London Heathrow Terminal 3 and the Virgin Atlantic Clubhouse. It will continue as it moves to a Virgin Atlantic aircraft; the presenters will then take the audience into the sky on the flight to New York. The partnership will continue for three weeks, during which time the show will be broadcast from a studio in New York. It will feature content inspired by the film, including competitions to win a trip to the city.

The show will be renamed Magic in New York and will take place on November 8.
