“Harry Potter” Continues to Dominate the UK’s Top Tourist Attractions of 2017!

With the summer vacation season upon us, why not take a moment to read through some of the world’s most popular tourist attractions this year? And then, as Albus Dumbledore wisely suggests, make sure to “step out into the night and pursue that flighty temptress, adventure.”

Recently, the Daily Mail revealed the most popular tours both in the UK and in the world according to TripAdvisor; an exclusive Skip the Line tour of the Vatican secured its place as the world’s #1 most booked tour for 2017. However, the Warner Bros. Studio Tour London – The Making of Harry Potter nabbed three spots on the UK’s top ten list of tours, with two different variations of the official tour taking the fifth and eighth spots and the ninth spot going to an unofficial company offering tours!

It is no doubt impressive that the Warner Bros. Studio Tour London continues to attract many tourists, especially since last year it was ranked Britain’s #1 tourist destination by Vouchercloud and TripAdvisor!

It is clear, then, that although Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone was released exactly 20 years ago, as J.K. Rowling beautifully reminds us, “The stories we love best do live in us forever” and that Hogwarts will always be there to welcome us home.
