Bloomsbury Celebrates 20th Anniversary of “Chamber of Secrets” with Weekly House Takeover

The 20th anniversary of Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets takes place on July 2, 2018, and Bloomsbury is celebrating in style! Each week leading up to the anniversary, Bloomsbury is honoring one Hogwarts House on its social media pages.

The first House to take the spotlight is Gryffindor! If you’re a Gryffindor, you can celebrate with a new House wallpaper for your computer or your phone. You can also set a special Twitter or Facebook profile picture so all your friends can see your House pride!

 

 

Bloomsbury is also running competitions on its “Harry Potter Books from Bloomsbury” Facebook page, Twitter, and Instagram. Each week, you’ll have a chance to submit a photo showing why you’re the best champion for your House. Tag your entry appropriately and Bloomsbury will select the best ones. The final winners will then be chosen by an open poll.

Contest winners receive both House editions of Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets corresponding to the featured House of that week! Unfortunately for those living in the United States, the contests are only open to residents of Australia, New Zealand, the Republic of Ireland, and the United Kingdom.
