Review & Giveaway: Geek Gear’s June World of Wizardry Unboxing!

by Megan Fischer · July 9, 2018

Once again, the time has come for another review and giveaway of Geek Gear’s World of Wizardry monthly boxes!

Our staff anxiously awaited the arrival of their June boxes and were not disappointed upon their arrival! Check out the unboxing video below for our initial reactions and continue on to read our individual reviews.

Included in each monthly box are:

  • 1 wizarding world-themed T-shirt
  • 1 exclusive print
  • 4 other wizarding world-themed and officially licensed products
Megan's Review: June's Slytherin Box

I was a little disappointed in the state my box was in when it arrived (which is most likely entirely the fault of my mail carrier). It was in pretty bad shape, so I was a bit nervous that items within the box may be broken. I breathed a sigh of relief when I opened it to discover everything was still intact.

This was a bit more of a simple box. But simple doesn't mean bad! As always, the shirts never disappoint me. They're so comfortable and the designs are beautiful. I am not a huge jewelry person, but I adore the necklace that came with this box. I'm wearing it as we speak!

I was glad to see a coaster set included because my two young children destroyed our only set of coasters. These ones look like they may be a bit more toddler-proof, so I'm excited about that! I was a bit sad to see no wand in this box. I have been getting quite the collection with the last few. But that's all right! I need to get a wand display holder made anyway. The prints did not let me down, and I'm beginning to lose space on my walls for all of them! Soon, I am going to have a giant Potter-themed mural all over my bedroom wall! And holy guacamole, that Slytherin banner is so beautiful and so big!

Overall, I'm really excited about the contents of this box. Geek Gear has done it again!

Lizzie's Review: June's Gryffindor Box
The Gryffindor box was full of House pride this month! The necklace was a super nice addition and is great to have considering how many different Potter charms are available now. My favorite bit of the box was the HUGE Gryffindor banner. It is literally as big as me, and even my non-Potter-obsessed housemates thought it was brilliant!

Thanks to our fabulous friends at Geek Gear for providing World of Wizardry boxes for our review! You can enter our giveaway below to win your very own Geek Gear box starting July 9 and running until 11:59 p.m. on July 18.
