Review and Giveaway: Win a “Harry Potter” 2019 Weekly Planner or Dark Arts Journal Set!

by Amy Parikka · November 8, 2018

It’s almost that time when you start getting ready to organize your plans for the coming new year. Once again, Con*Quest has come to our rescue with its brand-new Harry Potter™ 2019 Weekly Planner so you can Accio organize 2019 and finally tackle those pesky New Year’s resolutions.

I opened my parcel to find a beautiful, thick journal with book board wrapped covers. The journal is held together by a gorgeous, gold ring binder that is definitely worthy of the wizarding world. On the front cover, you’ll be welcomed to 2019 with a Platform 9 ¾ ticket to Hogwarts and a thickly-chained time turner to help you make the most of your year.

For the artistically inclined, the planner features four dot grid journal pages at the front of the book so you can organize 2019 in style. These are a wonderful way for skilled bullet journalists to infuse some magic into their designs, and for the less experience to begin designing their future. Might I suggest patterning some little black footsteps around the edges of your artworks?

What I absolutely love about this journal is the thick, glossy tabs at the start of each month. Upon the page, you will find gorgeous artworks of your favorite Hogwarts professors and classes and some spectacular photographs from the Harry Potter films. Make sure you check out April’s incredibly detailed Divination artwork, and Neville Longbottom’s fantastic sketch on the cover of May.

Beneath these glossy tabs, the pages are lined with intricate artworks that are washed in a sepia tone, so that warm, nostalgic feeling will never disappear. They feature monthly reminders, a full-page calendar, and a weekly vertical format with plenty of room for a busy 2019. Keep a watchful eye out for some helpful, little artworks to remind you of both important Muggle and wizarding events, such as the Battle of Hogwarts, so you will never again make the mistaking of leaving home without tissues.

And of course, what would a journal be without some magical Harry Potter stickers? At the back of the journal are four sticker sheets to help you bring some magic to your weeks. The three little sock stickers are a particularly cute.

The Con*Quest Harry Potter™ 2019 Weekly Planner is now shipping to the United States and Canada, but we have a giveaway that will be open worldwide! Starting from November 8 through 11:59 p.m. on November 22, you can enter to win one of three prizes from our friends over at Con*Quest Journals:

About Con*Quest Journals:

Con*Quest Journals™ was created out of necessity. After years of vending at fan and comic conventions and gathering photo-ops, autographs, ticket stubs and all of the bits left in the bottom of backpacks, the team came up with the idea for a journal designed especially for comic, fan and gaming conventions. A place to keep that swag that stays in your bag. Since that time, they have created Officially Licensed Harry Potter™, Supernatural™ and Gen Con® journals, planners, tote bags and stickers that fans love. You can catch them on the road sometimes, they travel to cons all around the country.
