TripAdvisor Names Islands of Adventure the World’s Top Theme Park

For the fifth time in a row, TripAdvisor has named Universal Orlando Resort’s Islands of Adventure the world’s top theme park!

 

 

The winners of the Travelers’ Choice Awards are chosen based on TripAdvisor’s user reviews. Universal Orlando Resort’s Islands of Adventure features rides and attractions on eight different islands, including the Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Hogsmeade, Jurassic Park, King Kong’s Skull Island, and more. Visit Hogwarts and make a stop in Dumbledore’s office before hopping on the thrill ride that is Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey. Then, board the Hogwarts Express in Hogsmeade and see a lot of familiar faces as the train takes you to King’s Cross station in the London area of Universal Studios Florida.

Universal Orlando Resort is an incredibly popular theme park, and the park as a whole took the third slot in the Travelers’ Choice Awards. One of the most recent additions to the park is Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure, which was such a hit that lines to ride were up to ten hours long upon first opening in June. A few weeks ago, the park announced that the ride will close daily prior to the closing of the park to allow time for maintenance.
