Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure Wins Golden Ticket Award

There is little doubt that Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure at Universal’s Islands of Adventure is a popular attraction. Wait times for the ride have caused Universal Orlando Resort to modify the attraction’s operating hours multiple times, and the roller coaster itself features everything from a life-size replica of Hagrid to a Blast-Ended Skrewt.

It also seems that Harry Potter fans aren’t the only ones who have taken notice: The magazine Amusement Today, which runs the annual Golden Ticket Awards, has awarded Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure with the title of Best New Attraction Installation of 2019.

Blooloop provided a list of all of the winners for 2019, and Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure wasn’t the only winner from Universal Orlando Resort. The resort also took home the prize for Best Halloween Event of 2018 for the annual Halloween Horror Nights.

Votes came from “theme parks fans and enthusiasts,” although some categories were open to members of the amusement park industry. For more information on the Golden Ticket Awards, visit the official website.
