“Accio” Felix Felicis! Enter Now to Win a Once-in-a-Lifetime “Harry Potter” Experience

by Brienne Green · October 3, 2019

You know all those wishes you’ve made about Harry Potter-themed vacations? Well, if you have a vial of Felix Felicis handy, you and a few friends could see them granted in one fell swoop.

Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, Wizarding World Digital (formerly Pottermore), and the official Harry Potter Film Twitter account all announced just a few hours ago that a sweepstakes for every Potterhead’s trip of a lifetime is now open. The lucky winner and three guests will continent-hop their way through opening night of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child in San Francisco, California; both Universal Parks & Resorts properties in Universal City, California, and Orlando, Florida; and the Warner Bros. Studio Tour in London, England. And while there is no purchase necessary to enter the contest, donations to Lumos earn the entrant extra chances to win.

⚡Calling all Harry Potter fans!⚡

You have the chance to win the #HarryPotter trip of a lifetime! The best part? All donations will support our mission to help vulnerable children and reunite families.https://t.co/2w99mp13W0

The grand-prize winner and their three guests will receive the following:

  • VIP tickets to Cursed Child‘s opening night and after-party on December 1 in San Francisco
  • A VIP tour of Warner Bros. Studio Tour London – The Making of Harry Potter, where you’ll ride a broomstick and meet Warwick Davis (Griphook/Filius Flitwick)
  • A VIP experience in the Wizarding World of Harry Potter at both Universal Orlando Resort and Universal Studios Hollywood. You’ll partake in an exclusive butterbeer tasting and a special wand experience at Ollivanders in addition to testing out your magic chops with Bonnie Wright (Ginny Weasley) at Universal Hollywood.
  • Airfare to San Francisco/Los Angeles and Orlando/London on two trips courtesy of American Airlines, along with four-star hotel accommodations

The official winner will also end their magical journey with a personalized Hogwarts trunk and a copy of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child signed by J.K. Rowling, John Tiffany, and Jack Thorne.

The contest is open to United States and United Kingdom residents ages 18 and up. The deadline to enter is November 12, and the grand-prize winner will be announced on November 27. The prize will be divided into two parts, with the Cursed Child San Francisco experience on December 1 and the trip to Universal Studios Hollywood on December 8 and the trips to Universal Orlando and Warner Bros. Studio Tour London to be determined, based on winner and talent availability.

You can enter via Omaze, with Lumos donation options for additional entries ranging from $10 to $5,000. The option to enter for free is linked below the donation buttons.

Rowling founded the international nonprofit Lumos in 2005 to help return disadvantaged children housed in orphanages around the world to their families or place them in loving homes. The organization aims to end the use of orphanages and institutions as a method of housing vulnerable children by 2050.
