Tom Felton Is the Latest “Harry Potter” Star to Join Cameo

by Kane Andriunas · May 5, 2020

Tom Felton (Draco Malfoy) has signed up for Cameo, an online website where you can purchase personalized videos from famous people for a fee, and in Felton’s case, a hefty one.

You can ask Felton to record a birthday, thank you, or congratulations message, or just a simple shout-out.

Introducing his Cameo page via a clip, Felton revealed that he is excited to be able to create messages for fans:

Hello, boys, girls, ladies and gentlemen, my name is Tom Felton, and I’m excited to be using this Cameo app. So hit me up for all your birthday requests or spiritual guidance or motivational speaking. I do the lot. I am in California, it is sunny, [so] let me spread the good vibes. Peace and love.

Each video appears to average around 30 seconds in length with an advertised wait time of seven days if you choose to purchase one. If you’d like a video from Felton, you need to be prepared to part with a hefty $288.

As of the date of this article, the Cameo page has had 96 reviews, with mainly all of them being positive. One happy purchaser commented, “Excellent video! My friend absolutely loved her surprise. Thank you so much.”

Another fan, who wasn’t so pleased, commented, “The cameo was nice but very short, unfortunately… I thought it would be longer, as it was destined [for] children [who] love Harry Potter. Furthermore, what I asked [for] wasn’t totally respected. Tom Felton is nice, the [C]ameo is nice but too short and I’m not sure it was worth the price. Hope the children will like it anyway.”

Felton isn’t the only Harry Potter star on Cameo. See a full list below.

    • Tiana Benjamin (Angelina Johnson)
    • Josh Herdman (Gregory Goyle)
    • James Payton (Frank Longbottom)
    • James Phelps (Fred Weasley)
    • Oliver Phelps (George Weasley)
    • Ekow Quartey (Bem)
    • Chris Rankin (Percy Weasley)
    • Tolga Safer (Karkaroff’s aide)
    • Jamie Waylett (Vincent Crabbe)
    • Bonnie Wright (Ginny Weasley)

This is not the first time Felton has been on Cameo. Back in 2018 he was available for personalized videos and then he later left the app.

It’s an exciting time for Felton, with his comedy Braking for Whales now available on VOD/digital release.
