Jason Isaacs Welcomes Wizarding World Fans Back to Hogwarts

by Mary Wojcicki · August 28, 2020

This year, going back to Hogwarts means going virtual, and Harry Potter actor Jason Isaacs (Lucius Malfoy) has a very magical video for all the Wizarding World fans eager to return to Hogwarts for another year of learning.

Since it has become common for fans of the Wizarding World franchise to make a trip to King’s Cross on September 1, Wizarding World Digital is requesting that fans join in on a virtual countdown to 11:00 a.m in London this year. The video from Isaacs is part of the lead-up to the main event, which begins at 10:30 a.m. BST (GMT+1) on September 1, 2020.

You can watch the video of Isaacs introducing Tuesday’s events right here!

As we kick off the weekend celebrations ahead of the September 1st livestream, we’ve got a special message from @jasonsfolly, (aka Lucius Malfoy) for everyone planning to join #BackToHogwarts this year…https://t.co/jRAGjiGRjZ pic.twitter.com/iwmiFMsiZy
